On a mission to raise awareness and funds for lung health, the Breathing Center of Houston proudly participated in this year’s Fight for Air Stair Climb, hosted at the iconic Rice University Football Stadium. Organized by the American Lung Association, this annual event brings together individuals, teams, and organizations to climb for a cause—and we were honored to join the effort.

Stepping Up for Lung Health
With every step climbed, we stood in solidarity with those affected by lung disease- patients, survivors, and loved ones. Our team of staff, family members, and patients showed up with enthusiasm and determination, tackling the stadium stairs in support of cleaner air and healthier lungs.

Over $2,500 Raised for a Cause That Hits Home
Thanks to the generosity of our community and supporters, the Breathing Center of Houston raised over $2,500 to support the American Lung Association’s life-saving research, advocacy, and patient programs. For a team rooted in respiratory health, this event is personal- and this year’s climb was one of our proudest moments yet.

A Day of Community, Commitment, and Climbing
The energy at Rice Stadium was electric. With music playing, teams cheering each other on, and the Houston skyline in the distance, it was a day full of heart and purpose. We captured some incredible moments along the way- from team high-fives to summit selfies- and we’re excited to share the highlights in our event gallery below.

We’re grateful to the American Lung Association for organizing such a meaningful event and to everyone who supported our climb.
